About Allied National
What Sets Allied Apart From Other Administrators?
Allied is a third-party administrator that provides back office services to insurance companies and other risk partners. In partnership with major national insurance companies, we also develop, market, underwrite, and service our own group health and dental plans. All our plans are backed by some of the top carriers in the country. Check out our About Us page for more information.

Do I Have to Log in to Download Brochures, Applications and Sales Materials?
No. For easy accessibility, we do not require you to log in to get access to these materials. You can go directly to the Download Forms page to get the forms you need.
Self-Service Site
What is the Purpose of the Self-Service Site on the Allied Website?
By logging in, you can view information and documents for all your Allied business including the status of your submitted cases, benefits, group billings, SPDs, commission statements, etc. You can also view your carrier appointment status. Please note: For easy accessibility, we do not require you to log in to get access to brochures and other sales materials.
For our group plans, we currently cannot generate a quote for you online. We do provide free access to our WINAllied Windows based software that you can use on your own PC to generate quotes. For our short-term medical plans, you can get a quote in seconds by visiting the Pivot Health Short Term Medical sales website.
Case Submission
How do I Submit a Case?
To submit a case, fill out the New Case Transmittal Form. The Transmittal Form provides you with a convenient checklist of items to submit with your case. Fill it out and submit it, along with the required documents, to our Underwriting Department.
What is the Time Frame for a Case to be Fully Underwritten and Approved?
For group cases, if all requirements for submissions are sent in an orderly fashion, you can expect your case to be underwritten and approved in between 5–10 business days. Certificates of Insurance/Summary Plan Documents and ID cards will be mailed within 24 hours of approval. Short Term Medical PLUS applications are underwritten within 24 hours of receipt.
What are Allied's Health Underwriting Practices?
All Allied major medical cases are medically underwritten to determine the health risk of the group. Allied uses a unique financial underwriting approach to determine the actual dollar cost of known conditions shown on the applications. We allow a certain level of these costs before we begin to load the group's premium. More than 50% of all submitted cases are issued at standard or preferred rates. Allied's financial underwriting approach provides you the flexibility to easily modify benefits to improve the underwriting results for your case submission.
