COVID-19 Information & Resources

The Coronavirus (SARS-COV-2), and COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, has presented unique challenges for Allied group health plan employers. The business shutdowns caused by "stay-at-home" orders nationwide have a large impact on small employers. Determining what your health coverage pays for and trying to maintain this important insurance coverage are foremost in everyone's minds.

Allied Health Plans Cover Testing
All Allied group health plans cover testing for COVID-19 at 100% (no member copay or responsibility) in or out of network.  
Allied Health Plans Cover Vaccines
All Allied group health plans cover vaccines for COVID-19 at 100% (no member copay or responsibility) in or out of network.  
AiRCare Behavioral Health Assistance
AiRCare, a behavioral health company that works with our Allied HealthCare Assistant program, can now provide telephone counseling to all of our major medical members for the duration of the crisis. The benefit for this will be covered at 100%.
Diabetes Management Assistance
GEMCORE's at-home Diabetes Management Program allows members to stay healthy and manage their diabetes from home with remote health coaching, online ordering and supply/medication home delivery.
COBRA Subsidies under the
American Rescue Plan Act of 2021

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 includes a 100% federal COBRA subsidy from April 1 -September 30, 2021, for some employees. This applies only for employees who experienced a reduction in hours or involuntary termination of employment which triggered an offer of COBRA coverage. The triggered COBRA coverage does not have to be a result of the Pandemic. The premium subsidy is available to the employee, the employee’s spouse, and dependents (qualified beneficiaries) who lost coverage as a result.
